NEW 2024 GMC SIERRA HEAVY DUTY “Ultimate Towing Test”

Hi, everyone. It’s Stephanie and Clay here, from Life by the Bow.

Clay:
We have the first ever GMC Sierra HD Denali Ultimate. We’re going to be putting this truck through its paces. So without further ado, let’s go ahead and get right into it.
This truck comes with a 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel V8 with an Allison 10 speed transmission that delivers 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque. The power is great. When the turbo kicks in, you can really feel the torque going to work.

This year, HD Denali Ultimate maneuver flawlessly, and when you’re reverse, the same exact thing. It’s a mastery, almost like the art of towing.
We got the big bold GMC badge, we got the blacked out Ultimate Duramax badges, and then of course, that Vader Chrome here, which adds just such a beautiful touch. You’ve got the retractable assist step, as soon as you open the door. Just makes things really easy and convenient.

As you can see, we have this MultiPro tailgate. We press this top button, first portion comes down. This is a really cool feature that I was very surprised about. There’s actually some speakers integrated to this tailgate, which is so cool.

This truck offers up to 14 camera views that are just unbelievable.

You want me to get out and back you in?

Clay:
No, I think I got it. I’m going to switch to the hitch view.

Stephanie:
Oh, look at that.

Stephanie:
I’m usually backing you up until you get on top of the hitch.

Clay:
Compared to our old truck, there’s a lot of new features that are on here that I’m excited to try out. The way they did the stitching too, very clean. Everything looks more modern, I love the contour lines of Denali in the wood.

Stephanie:
You even got the coordinates too. Now I’m having a massage. My muscles can relax from the long day of fishing.

Clay:
And getting back into the truck after a long day on the water, is definitely a nice touch.

Stephanie:
I am feeling fantastic.

Clay:
